In addition to her world of art inspired by a love for horses and her affection for celebrating the familiar, playing her country-folk while traveling and performing in Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas, Arizona and throughout the West.

Personal originals and choice cover songs paint pictures of her artistic journey and deliver their message with a salting of spiritual optimism. Her fans call it "Rocky Style", kind of an acoustic country-folk with hints of gospel and classic rock. You can sample a healthy dose of it on Rocky’s debut album, No Doubt, with the heartfelt "She Runs" being just one of the engaging tunes. That cut was even on the Grammy consideration list for 2009.

You might say that all Rocky Shaw’s words, melodies and images add up to a "bigger picture". It’s one you’re going to want to check out soon, if only on CD (link below). But who knows? Maybe you’ll have a chance to see and hear her in person real soon. . . Rocky says she might just play some free private thank-you concerts for special patrons of her arts!
