I constantly learn new cover songs and drop others from use, but this list of some of the covers I sing should give you a good idea of the style of my performances.

Rocky, like other musicians, was influenced by the sounds of her youth.  The fond memories of sitting with her family listening to her dad's fav's; Ian Tyson,Johnny Cash, Simon & Garfunkel, and Gordon Lightfoot inspired Rocky to start making music of her own. At the age of nine her dad gave her a Framus guitar and a Chet Atkins "How to play it" book, and her journey as a musician began.  After getting the bug early, life happened. . .

The demands of a growing family, and regrettably other interests, drew her from her pursuit of music. Her art ability was obvious and many encouraged her to follow that path.  Young, naive, and not secure in how to balance everything she got distracted.  Still the passion for music burned.

She never put down her guitar completely. For years she scribbled notes, setting aside lyrics for the songs that resided dormant in her soul.  Finally, after mourning the death of her husband, she was given to her postponed passion.  She got her feet wet performing cover songs in coffee shops and clubs throughout Tennessee, Mississippi and the West.  In 2008 she recorded her first CD, No Doubt, and continued performing in California, Arizona, Colorado, and now Texas. 

The pictures painted by the songs she writes and the covers she performs are inspired by her history, her life, songs of love found, love lost, love missed, and ultimately at its greatest...love sacrificed. Love and freedom...the heart of it all! 

In 2012 she released her 2nd CD, Freedom Stride, and continues to dance to life, write songs, embrace family and friends, and in season paint those stories on canvas.
